Pier clean up on Easter Saturday April 19 th.
Following the Autumn and January storms there is now a lot of debris on the pier. There are also launching trollies, kyaks and boats, some damaged, strewn around the pier by the winds and high tides.
A joint clean up has been organised by GHYC, Kilmacabea Rowing Club and the Glandore Community Group for Easter Saturday, April 19th. at 10.00 am.
If you are available to help out please come along. To facilitate the clean up we would ask owners to remove dinghies, kyaks etc. from the pier before this date.

Glandore Pier gets funding for Repair & Upgrading
The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine has announced funding for repairs and upgrading of Glandore Pier. The Department has approved 90% funding of €180,000 for the works. We expect that Cork County Council will be announcing details of the work to be carried out soon. This is very good news for club members and other boat owners and comes following two years of joint representations by GHYC, Kilmacabea Rowing Club and Glandore Community Group.
